Nutrition Program
Clinical Nutrition Services
Registered Dietitians (RD's) are experts in the area of nutrition and counselling. They are trained to provide individualized, evidence-based nutrition therapy to clients. The long term goals are to optimize nutrition status, improve health, increase longevity and enhance enjoyment of life.
Dietitians at Maple are essential members of the Primary Health Care Team. In collaboration with clients, caregivers and healthcare providers, they play an important role in promoting health, preventing disease and managing both acute and chronic diseases where nutrition is a key factor. Clients may be seen individually, in a group setting or a combination of both.
Strategies to manage nutrition related problems are discussed and tailored to meet each person's individualized needs.
